Director’s Message

Director’s Message

There are moments when an idea arrives fully formed — not as a plan, but as a conviction.

IndiSetu was one of those moments.
It was born from a belief I have carried across decades of clinical practice and global engagement: that the greatest challenges of our time — in health, in equity, in human potential — cannot be solved in silos. They demand collaboration that crosses borders, disciplines, and generations.

Following a landmark inaugural edition in London in 2025, IndiSetu 2026 returns with sharper focus, deeper partnerships, and an even more urgent mandate. The Global Collaboration Forum, which I had the privilege of founding in Kolkata in 2024, was conceived as a space for exactly this kind of exchange — where healthcare, science, technology, education, environment, art, and culture converge in service of global good.

IndiSetu is that vision in motion.
We bring together Indian and UK perspectives not for the sake of dialogue alone, but for the kind of dialogue that changes things — that builds frameworks, forges relationships, and produces ideas durable enough to travel beyond the room in which they were born.

To every clinician, technologist, policymaker, researcher, artist, and citizen who believes that a better world is possible — and that building it is a shared responsibility — IndiSetu is your platform.

Come. Let us think rigorously, collaborate generously, and build something that matters.
